The Last Black Man in San Francisco (Review)

If the Oscars were today, I’d give this film everything

So... If the Oscars were tonight, I would 100% have this taking home Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography & Original Score.
Without hesitation.

As soon as Emile Mosseri’s music hit, I was in it. I was at the edge of my seat the entire time. Fueled by Oscar worthy performances from both newcomers Jimmie Fails & Jonathan Majors, this is the MUST SEE MOVIE OF 2019!

Under the direction of Joe Talbot, this film has already won the 2019 Sundance Film Festival Directing Award. If we are so lucky, I pray this film receives even more accolades. If it’s playing in a theater near you, go give this film the money it deserves. If you can’t see it in theaters, purchase it when it comes out.

This is what films are supposed to be. Congratulations to The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
